The younger boy, who was rushed to hospital, had been having fun with the social gathering exercise at his eight-year-old sister’s birthday in Liverpool when two attackers, regarded as males of their late teenagers or early 20s, intruded the occasion.

Following the incident on Wednesday, which police have stated is “not random,” a 20-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in connection to the assault.
