Kleptomaniac New Zealand parrot steals GoPro, movies airborne escape


A New Zealand parrot offered a wide ranging, chicken’s-eye view of a scenic panorama — after swiping a GoPro digicam from a bunch of hikers.

The Verheul household informed native information program “Seven Sharp” that they had been mountaineering within the distant Fiordland once they had been joined by some kea, a species of huge parrot recognized for its intelligence and curiosity, the Guardian reported.

They positioned the digicam to seize video of the birds, which have been recognized to swipe meals, wallets and valuables from unsuspecting vacationers.

Fairly quickly, a sticky-clawed parrot landed on a railing, grabbed the GoPro and swooped down the hillside, capturing a surprising backward view of the world.

The mischievous poacher lastly landed and attacked the digicam earlier than a boy recovered the system.
