Iran’s Supreme Chief Khamenei pledges to ‘firmly prosecute’ these behind assassination of prime navy scientist

Iran can have retribution for the loss of life of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the scientist killed on Friday, the nation’s supreme chief has pledged. Iranian officers accuse Israel of being behind the killing.

Fakhrizadeh was a “treasured soul” valued for “his nice and lasting scientific efforts,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated in a assertion on Saturday. Iran will conduct a radical investigation of his assassination and to “firmly prosecute its perpetrators and its commanders,” whereas doubling down on scientific exploration within the fields during which Fakhrizadeh labored, he added.

The highest Iranian scientist was killed on Friday – reportedly, he died from gunshot wounds after his automobile was ambushed by unidentified gunmen outdoors of Tehran. Senior Iranian officers have indicated that they believe Israel to be behind the killing. The Jewish state wouldn’t instantly touch upon the assassinations or the Iranian accusations.

Fakhrizadeh, a physics scientist with shut ties to the Iranian protection business, has for years been suspected by Israel and its allies to be the chief of Iranian effort to supply a nuclear weapon.
