apanese gaming large Sega Sammy has agreed to purchase Indignant Birds maker Rovio Leisure.
The teams confirmed in a joint assertion on Monday that Sega, the agency behind franchises reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog, will purchase its Finnish rival for 706 million euros (£625 million).
It comes after Rovio confirmed the businesses had been in discussions over a possible supply on Saturday.
Sega can pay 9.25 euros per share and 1.48 euros per share choice for the cellular gaming enterprise.
The Japanese agency has mentioned it plans to “speed up” development within the world gaming market by the deal and create synergies between the 2 companies.
