The allegations of extremism and little one abuse are baseless, Pavel Durov has advised Tucker Carlson
Telegram founder Pavel Durov has known as the legal case towards him in France unfair and baseless. In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, the Russian-born billionaire argued that he shouldn’t be blamed for the crimes dedicated by the customers on his messenger service.
Durov, whose firm relies in Dubai, was arrested in France in August 2024 on costs of complicity in crimes allegedly dedicated by Telegram customers, together with extremism and little one abuse. He was later launched on bail of €5 million ($5.46 million). Though he was permitted to journey to the UAE in March, his current request to go to the US has been denied, and he stays underneath restricted supervision.
