Canada’s Home of Commons Speaker Anthony Rota has apologized for honoring a Ukrainian man who served in Adolf Hitler’s Waffen SS forces in World Conflict II. The 98-year outdated Yaroslav Hunka, a former member of the SS 1st Galician Division who now lives in Canada, was given a standing ovation within the chamber through the go to of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on Friday.
