A big lightning bolt struck the spire of the One World Commerce Middle constructing in New York Metropolis on Saturday evening, illuminating the sky over the tallest constructing within the Western hemisphere.
The Nationwide Climate Service had warned about highly effective thunderstorms and extreme winds within the New York Metropolis space.
The 1,776-foot-tall One World Commerce Middle was constructed instead of the World Commerce Middle skyscrapers that had been destroyed in the course of the terrorist assaults of September 11, 2001.
