girl who accused Premier League footballer Benjamin Mendy of rape was dancing with him hours after the alleged assault, a courtroom has been informed.
CCTV footage from inside a membership on the day of the alleged rape, performed to a jury at Chester Crown Court docket on Wednesday, confirmed the girl dancing towards the Manchester Metropolis left-back.
One other clip, from the identical night time, confirmed the girl placing her hand on the 28-year-old’s neck as they appeared to trade phrases on the dance flooring.
Earlier that day, in July 2021, the courtroom was informed Mendy raped the girl throughout a gathering at his mansion – The Spinney in Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire.

Eleanor Legal guidelines QC, representing Mendy, questioned the girl over the footage and advised she was “bodily snug” with him regardless of the alleged assault.
She responded: “I might not say that I used to be bodily snug in his firm, I had simply not processed all the things that had occurred.
“I used to be very drunk and I used to be simply doing what everybody else was doing – I used to be appearing like nothing had occurred.”
Ms Legal guidelines QC continued: “No one in that membership would recommend to you that you just needed to rub your backside and dance in direction of somebody you didn’t need to.”
“No”, the girl responded.
She later defined: “I used to be dancing with everybody, everybody was dancing with everybody.”
The courtroom noticed an extra clip, which appeared to indicate the girl approaching Mendy and speaking to him as he left the membership.
Jurors had been informed she went again to the footballer’s house two days later after being invited by one other man – although Mendy was not there.
Ms Legal guidelines QC stated: “You wouldn’t need to go wherever close to there after what occurred.”
The lady replied: “Not by myself, no.”
Mendy denies eight counts of rape, one depend of tried rape and one depend of sexual assault towards seven younger girls.
Co-accused, Louis Saha Matturie, 41, the footballer’s buddy and fixer, is alleged to have had the job of discovering younger girls for intercourse.
Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, denies eight counts of rape and 4 counts of sexual assault referring to eight younger girls.
Each males say any intercourse was consensual.
