Prosecutors say Quiogue, 27, was caught on physique digicam footage confronting LAPD officers throughout a downtown protest Sunday with a Molotov cocktail and lighter in hand.

“Los Angeles Police Division officers noticed Quiogue with the machine and rapidly arrested him,” prosecutors mentioned in a press release. “As Quiogue tried to flee arrest, he threw the Molotov.”

Quiogue was ordered detained following an preliminary courtroom look Tuesday.
