A development employee fell to his dying from the landmark Waldorf-Astoria New York resort Thursday morning, authorities and sources mentioned.

The 45-year-old hardhat was discovered on the bottom round 9:40 a.m. outdoors the posh resort on Park Avenue close to East forty ninth Avenue that has been underneath development for years, in response to cops and sources.

A consultant from the resort didn’t instantly return a name for remark.

The Waldorf, a strong skyline presence and image of Manhattan glamour, was residence to the legendary Peacock Alley and was the stomping grounds of Cole Porter, Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe earlier than closing in February 2017.

The reopening was first touted for 2020 — after which for 2021, 2022 and 2023.
