An emotional Duchess of Sussex appeared to wipe away a tear because the Queen’s coffin was pushed away from Westminster Abbey following her funeral service.

The duchess appeared mournful and teary-eyed as she stood alongside the Royal household.

In an emotional service on Monday morning, the Archbishop of Canterbury hailed the Queen’s “considerable life” and mentioned she had “touched a large number of lives” throughout her 70-year reign.

The Queen’s coffin was carried in a procession from the abbey previous Buckingham Palace to Hyde Park Nook. It was later taken to St George’s Chapel in Windsor, the place she can be laid to relaxation in a personal burial service for shut relations.

Although the Sussexes have closely criticised the Royal household, the Duchess drew a distinction between the monarch and people “operating the establishment”.
