British Transport Police mentioned they have been referred to as to the scene at 3.40pm on tram strains near Ampere Approach which serves the Valley Retail Park.
TfL mentioned that trams had been suspended between close by Therapia Lane and Wandle Park because of the incident.
A police spokesperson mentioned: “Officers have been referred to as to the tram line near Ampere Approach in Croydon at 3.40pm following studies of a collision between a tram and an individual using an e-scooter.
“Officers stay on scene and a person is being taken to hospital with severe accidents. The incident isn’t being handled as suspicious.”
In a journey replace on its web site, TfL mentioned: “No service between Wandle Park and Therapia Lane whereas the emergency companies reply to a casualty on the observe”.
