The US Senate has voted resoundingly by 79 to 18 to approve $95bn in support for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, as a bipartisan super-majority united to ship the long-stalled bundle to Joe Biden’s desk for signature. The invoice was accredited after proceedings that had been hailed by the Senate majority chief, Chuck Schumer, as ‘one of many biggest achievements the Senate has confronted in years’
