Beijing has hit again at Washington, imposing monetary sanctions on US officers, congressional personnel, NGOs and their members of the family in retaliation for US sanctions over Hong Kong levied earlier this week.
Talking on Thursday, Chinese language International Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying instructed reporters that Beijing will carry measures towards American officers and people in what she described as an “equal counterattack.”
China has determined to impose equal sanctions towards accountable US authorities officers, congressional personnel, non-governmental organizations and speedy members of the family in relation to the Hong Kong concern.
The brand new measures may also hit US diplomats working in Hong Kong and Macau.
Hua urged the US to right away cease interfering in China’s home affairs, most notably in Hong Kong, and “not go additional down a unsuitable and harmful street.”
