A bus driver has advised of how youngsters hid underneath seats as a coach carrying Manchester United followers was mistakenly attacked close to Previous Trafford on Monday evening.

With its passengers apparently taken for Liverpool followers – and even the visiting workforce – the car was pelted with objects because it made its approach by an space closely populated with United supporters earlier than the Premier League recreation.
