President Biden canceled a scheduled journey to Italy due to the wildfires raging in Los Angeles, the White Home introduced Wednesday evening.
“After returning this night from Los Angeles, the place earlier at present he had met with police, hearth and emergency personnel preventing the historic fires raging within the space and authorised a Main Catastrophe declaration for California, President Biden made the choice to cancel his upcoming journey to Italy to stay targeted on directing the total federal response within the days forward,” White Home press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre mentioned in an announcement.
