Anti-lockdown protesters collect in Clapham Frequent

ozens of law enforcement officials swarmed Clapham Frequent on Saturday after anti-lockdown protesters gathered within the space.

Some 30 unmasked demonstrators chanting “take your freedom again” walked alongside the excessive road quickly after noon whereas being heckled by members of the general public.

One lady shouted from her automobile on the protesters, “There’s a pandemic happening you t****”, whereas one other bystander shouted “idiots”.

Officers have been seen questioning folks not carrying masks and telling them to go residence, threatening fines below Covid rules if they didn’t comply.

A person carrying a tartan face protecting was advised to return to his residence in close by Balham. He replied: “I don’t like Balham, I don’t just like the Baham space.”

On Clapham Frequent itself, the place protesters had deliberate to assemble, officers have been seen in heated conversations with folks about enforcement of the rules.
